STOP PRESS Community Focus One of our mission statements is to be a positive force in the communities in which we operate. Since opening our doors in Rozelle in early 2007, Bagel House has always been happy to assist local charities/organisations with their fund raising activities either by donating gift vouchers or bagels. We have now decided to become more pro active in our approach by helping these organisations to physically raise money. The idea is simple, purchase a freshly cooked Bacon and Egg Bagel from our shop at 621 Darling Street, Rozelle and $2.50 from every Bacon and Egg Bagel sold [during our fundraiser] will be donated to the organisation we are assisting. Our first Bacon and Egg Bagel fund raiser will be on Saturday 10 July between 9.30am and 1.00pm for the Rozelle Neighbourhood Centre. Funds raised will assist them with running all the fantastic programs and services that they offer to the local community www.rozellecentre.org.au So if you think that we can be of assistance to an organisation/school in our local area that you are a part of, or know of, then please contact Ian Pynt Managing Director on 9810 4205 or by email.
Bagel House Bagel Fact Over the last 12 months, Bagel House has baked over 1,300,000 bagels. Our Bagels are baked fresh everyday in our Rozelle Bagelry Cafe and then delivered to our City Shops, Market Stalls and our Wholesale Distributor – Bob & Pete’s Market Stalls We are now open at a 3rd market on Saturdays located at Riverside Girls High School, Cnr Victoria & Huntleys Point Road, Gladesville. The market is open every Saturday and trades from 8.00 am to 1.00pm. We have recently welcomed a new manager to our Rozelle Bagelry Cafe. Scott has a wealth of experience gained from his previous hospitality and customer service roles. With over 12 years of management experience in roles including Operations Trainer and Store Manager, Scott brings a great combination of customer service, problem solving and management skills to the Bagel House. With his love of making coffee why not come down and put his Barista skills to the test!! Competition Our competition winner for May was Jessica.
