From humble beginnings in the early 80's on Sydney's Taylor Square, Bagel House has grown to become Australia's leading bagel maker. We got there through dedication to tradition, authenticity and the quality of our dough. With more than 25 years' experience as committed bagel artisans, we believe that our bagels are truly Australia's best.

Bagel House currently has three outlets: a 'Bagelry Cafe' in Rozelle, where we boil and bake our bagels and take-away stores in Sydney's MLC Centre and Sydney Central Plaza on Pitt St Mall. Click here to see where to find us.

Many people fondly remember the little Bagel Coffee House on Flinders St at Sydney's Taylor Square in the 1980's. We're often asked by customers at our Rozelle Bagelry Cafe if we're the same company who ran that iconic establishment. The answer is yes! It's us, we've just moved on a generation. The original cafe on Flinders St was run by Irene Portelli and Frank Sammut from 1983 - 1986 then by Irene and her husband John.
